quick question for you yamaha guys..was looking on ebay and saw a 03 rx1 with only 120mi and the guy was selling it for $1998.00 first off it sounds to good to be true but who knows..i emailed the guy and from what he said he was in an accident (not on the sled)and he cant ride anymore.im not sure if the sled is in italy but he is and evan if u pay out the %ss for shipping wouldnt this be a good deal..thought maybe you could help..thanks

It is a scam. Do not send any money. Tell the guy you'll take it if he sends it COD that way you are both protected. He will give you some lame assed excuse why he can't or he'll simply not reply at all. Better yet, tell him your brother is a an army ranger stationed in Italy and you want him to go take a look at it :D

Hey thanks, i figured it was..i called ups and they told me it was probably a scam and it would also cost anywhere from $3000 to $4000 to ship that far...thanks mighty

Is the guy in North America? If he is, I'd look around the general board and see if there's anyone close to him. I would report it to e-bay if not. You can get better shipping rates through a moving company or a shipping service........
