I recently purchased a 98 formula 500, it runs great, starts great. I have one question, i'm not used to the newer sleds, i've always had older ones. It seems to me that it runs a bit "spitty" when going slow (under 4000rpm), but runs super when given a bit more throttle. Is this the norm with the oil injected liquid cooled sleds? Or should I get it tuned up?

Clean the carbs real good, make sure idle mixture is set right, if still does it, drop the needle one clip.

all those 500's in that engine stuttered a little down low in the rpm's.
