I CARRIED MINE IN MY INSIDE COAT POCKET TO KEEP IT WARM. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND PUTING IT IN YOUR HANDLE BAR BAG IT WILL GET TO COLD AND MAY NOT WORK. :D

Now if we just get some winter weather so we can take some pics on the trails. This is our first winter with the digital camera and WE are eager to use it!

Keeping them in your jacket or bibs is fine. I wouldn't recommend carrying them on the sled beacuse of the vibration more then anything else.

I carry my Fuji 2600Z inside my jacket or in a fanny pack in front of me. Last winter I was taking pics on a day that started out @ -37*C in New Liskeard. On that trip I kept extra batteries in my sweatpants pocket & the battery charger in the fanny pack. I was quite happy w/ the pics I took last winter

Keep the camera under your jacket to keep it warm. The batteries will lose a lot of power if they get cold. If the camera is kept warm you will not have any problems with fogging. Fogging occurs when you have a cold object going into a warm environment not the other way around. eg. Glasses fog when you go inside from the cold not when you go outside from the warmth. I've been using a digital camera for 3 years and have never had a problem. I have a small camera/dvd case that I wear around my neck under my jacket and it works great for me.

I've got the Olympus 400 and it works great in the cold and its weatherproof, the only thing I don't care for is the delay when taking acion shots

I've riden with mine in the windshield bag like "puree" mentioned, for two years with NO problems whatsoever - they stay nice and toasty there (at least on my machine).

Don't leave home without it -- you NEVER know when a photo-op will occur!

Like the others said, carry it in your inside pocket to keep it warm, but more importantly to isolate it from the bumps and vibrations. Carrying cameras in a windshield bad WILL eventually lead to their early demise. Trust me, I've been there.

I put my camera in a zip-lock bag when i'm bringing it into the house.Let it warm up before removing from the bag.No moisture problems so far.

I keep it in my inside brest pocket... that way it doesn't fall out, no one can take it and it stays nice and warm. been doing this for 3 years, no problems to speek of yet. make sure you have an extra set of battries! best thing i ever did was bring the digicam with snowmobling. makes for some awsome pictures and you can remember each ride by the pictures you took.
