I put on a new belt on a machine i just picked up its a 1976 tnt 340, the old belt was very worn and not as wide as the new one but at least the machine moved. With the new belt the machine creeps foward and dies, i know you can adjust the lenth by moving the chain case foward or back and the engine mounts but that did nothing, it seems the secondary is to tight for the belt and its the right belt # as well , does anyone no how to adjust the width or tension of the secondary so that the new belt wont creep the machine foward ?
