[COLOR=red] I bought my son this sled last year. When I went to get it ready for the season the Bravo wouldn't run without the choke on. If I turn the choke off it dies immediately. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Either the carb is dirty (plugged pilot) or it has a major air leak.
Bravo engines are very tough, but sometimes they will puke a base gasket. (air leak) I have done a few of them, usually does not even take out the piston.

I would take the carb apart and give it a good cleaning first, and I don't mean just spray carb cleaner in it. Take the bowl off and pull the jets out and run a piece of wire in the port holes to loosen up and hard deposits of varnish and then spray the crap out of it. Plus run the wire in the jets also and spray out. While spraying the carbs I usually put the little tube on the can and really concentrate the stream through the jets until it comes out the holes strong. Also wear safety glasses because you never know where the stream is going to come out and carb cleaner in the eyes burns like heck.. Do this with the wire and the spray and if thats the problem it will make a world of difference....Good luck

I just helped my neighbor get his running. Pulled the carb off and cleaned the green crap out of the idle circuit and guess what? It runs great now :D He claims the fuel was only 7 months old :sarcasm:
