I talked with bondi about the convertion, and that is the way I would go if and when I do it.what he told me was "you need the sled, motor ,carbs and fuel pump, the mpem,ck-3 air box" all he said he need to know is the year of everything to make sure you get a true bolt in kit.as for weight I asked that myself,he said he took all the stuff that he took off and put it on the scale, doing the same with what went back on,10 lbs differance.the 800 twin is no light piece.

yeah i emailed him on what i would need he said about the same but what i want to know is. does the motor just bolt back in to the same holes or do you need special motor mounts ? he did not say that he just said you need the motor, the air box, pipes, fuel pump. i guess im going to find out

"does the motor just bolt back in to the same holes or do you need special motor mounts ?"
I'm not sure how bondi is doing it, but I do know specialty sleds sells a mount plate. I haven't seen it, but did call them on it- was thinking of dropping a 700 single in a zx. I think the plate sells for something like $350 US. I'm guessing bondi is doing something slightly different, based on that parts list.
That looks like a really clean install. Specialty Sleds also has the pipes for the 800. I thought they were Jaws blanks reworked. Or was it Crank Shop? I just remember them saying that they were using the blanks and fitting themselves. Another possible resource, anyway.
