Hey everyone, put another 2oo miles on the Rev over the last weekend! Love HER!!! Now I need some help from the pros, so here is my dilemma: 2003 Rev 800 sport--I have heard nightmare tales of studding her, so I went this weekend and bought the kit from ski-doo (((real joy to install))) Anyway, the dealer guy told me to only put up to 96 studs down the middle. So, is this right? Can I only stud right down the middle with 96 studs? And by the way, this will be the first time I have bought studs, can I get some ideas on where to get the best price? Thanks again for all of your help so far!!

1 inch track or 1.25?
96 seems light. I run 144 down the middle on a 1 inch track.
I've always run 192 on my 670, 700, and 800 sleds. This is the
first time I've only run 144. Slides a bit in the corners which
I really like. Doesn't hook up great for dragging, but I can live
with that. 1300 miles and no problems so far.
Not sure on the stud price. I would search many of the on-line
catalogs to see what you can do. Sometimes dealers have a decent
price as well.
What kind of studs are you purchasing? I don't want to bash other
brands (except Saber who wouldn't stand behind their product),
but I've always had great luck with Woody's.
Good luck.

Definitly dont go with only 96studs. That would be suiside for your track.
I went with 144 down the middle with a 2 then 4 then 2 lay out. If already got 300km on that set up and love it. Its perfect and so far no damage.
