I was told to ignore the yellow wire and run a circuit from the black with yellow stripe to voltage regulator to brake switch and light switch then from those to brake light and headlight going back to yellow wire with black stripe. Does this sound right to anybody Does anyone know what the yellow is for? There is 3 wires coming from the magneto yellow yellow with black stripe and black with yellow stripe if anyone has a mireage or citation or similar sled and could do a simple check they might be able to get me out of a jam Thanks BTW the black emits voltage when engine is running the other two wires don't Anywhere from 12-13 to about 16-17 doonorth 01-04-2004, 07:59 PM the yellow and yellow black are the wires that goes to your head light.On the 1980 models there were 2 lighting coils and 1 larger ignition coil. if there is no volts or your ohms are greater than .09 the ligting coil is bad. Ask around for a used one | ||
