I know Cat has some, Doo not sure? Would you trust them in the long run?
From what I understand gas is a good enough lube at idle, and the oil pump does not work. When I warm up my sled I play with the throttle (as do most )wich activates the oil pump better lube. So would you trust your sled at idle for what 5,10,20 minutes while you dress?

Geez are snowmobilers getting lazy or what? I won't get more than 20 feet from my sled if it away from my house! I guess I just don't see the point.

When i first start my machine on cold mornings i WILL be standing right next to it. Ya just never know, expecially when its bitter out.
I just do not see a good point either, IMO just another thing to add more wring and crap when ya dont need too. Something else to got messed up.
Mornings would be the only time it would be useful ,if any, right?

it would work just fine on the SDI
if your sled has the 2004-7 update you never even have to touch the thottle until you are ready to move... it simply wont; work if throttle "jockying" is required.
and all it is is a small receiver and an electronic switch... no big deal
electronics are nothing to be worried about-
and as usual it really has nothing to do with being lazy, I alway hear Reverse if for lazy people... some folks just like gadgets, if you don't then don't buy it. I am sure you don't go for ES or RER either...
