Can someone tell me what chassis the '86 Formula Plus had? I need a new belly pan and there are some on ebay that fit all DSA F-2000 chassis sleds. Would these work?

Also, would a seat from a '89 MX fit the '86 Plus? I think it would but just want to be sure. Thanks.

P.R.S., D.S.A. wont work and I'am pretty sure the seat will work but would check into it further.

86 Plus is called the PRS chassis. Different then DSA. PRS was built from 85-93 I believe.

85-89 formula plus and mx seats will interchange.

i have a 88 mx, and did a bellypan on the cheap(this is my back-up sled).
got a large black plastic mortar mixing tub at home depot for 10 bucks.cut the flat bottom part out with a jig saw and used that after trimming to overlay the stock damaged doo belly pan. secured with tek drill screws into the frame and nuts-bolts elsewhere. came out very good. you can still get oem belly pans but they are about $325.00. too much for a sled that old as far as i was concerned. all formula 85-89 are pretty much the same chassis wise.

You guys are great. Thanks for the info. It is my back-up, play around sled and I just need to keep it usable.

Thanks maguire, I'll look into that. The DSA belly pan protectors are so cheap I thought that I could just cut them to fit so so, if it wasn't compatible with the PRS setup. My belly pan was good until last year. Now the holes are so big that I can't ride it in any deep snow, otherwise it acts like a scoop and drives all the snow into the mag and kills the sled.

Graynfast, it still is. I have a 617 in it, and it whoops on some newer sleds. But now it will be retired to back-up, taking the backseat to the Mach Z.

Thanks again.
