we got our first snowfall of the year last night, hopefully it continues to come and the trails open soon...i can't wait to get out there.

What's the latest? I heard snow totals of around 18"...is that right? Are the trails going to ready to go for the weekend? Is the ground frozen under the snow or is it going to be muddy?

Well here in westfield we got about 4-6 inches. in the hills i guess there is more and in certain areas there is more than a foot. we were supposed to get alot more last night but it didn't come. either way, the latest i have heard is that the trails may open on friday. ill let you know if i hear anymore but thats the latest i have heard. the ground is pretty frozen, there are some spots in low areas where there was water from the previous rainfalls. its good enough for me, i just wanna ride :)
