there is a update for garmin gps units nothing looks important to my needs but what is ( Improvements to RCV_CPO support ) ?

I always update my Etrx and Rino as soon as there's an update. I have no idea what RCV_CPO support is. Must be a good thing, though! :D

I just installed it the other day and noticed a HUGE performance increase when panning the map. The redraw is at least 200% faster. I went from 3.20 to 3.60.

Sounds like a good reason to upgrade! Any other side effects- either good or bad that you've noticed? I am hoping to try out my Vista on the sled for the first time this weekend or early next week.

Not that I've seen. But I just installed the update last week and haven't yet taken the GPS riding.

I must've missed the update part in the owners manual. Do I need to update an E-Trax venture? I haven't updated anything since I've got it.

sd sled head if you go to garmins website and click on your produc there is an update list, it will tell you what updates are available just check what version is on your gps when you turn it on.

sorry my comp was not hooke up for a few days and now it is -15 coldest i ever remember.
