What's the best way to ship a hood. I've got prices ranging from $203-985. Does this sound right.

I forgot to say that this is going from Manitoba to Michigan. All that I have talked to said because of the size it gets shipped by the weight of a 245lb box.

I had a hood shipped in from Minnesota to Michigan and it cost around $60 on a truck.

you could either contact a smaller courior or a trucking co. they will throw something on for *small fee. I know someone that gets stuff shipped in a home hardware truck on the return run, better than running empty.
You could probably go with a taxi for less than $900

Hoods are to big to go UPS. You must use a comman carrier. Weight is not the issue with UPS it is the size of the box need to protect the hood during shipping........A stripped Doo hood only weighs 30lbs in a box.

All the couriers I talked to said weight wise it would only cost $25-$30 but because of the odd dimensions of a hood it makes it weigh in as an over size package which is big $$$$.
I'm going to talk to the local trucking company and see what they say.
Thanks for the input guys.
