Don't you just love the smell of race gas. It has a sort of sweet pungent smell. Just makes me want to go fast.

Actually no I don't like the smell of race gas. Burns my nostiles. Why would you want to waste the money on 110 when 91 is more than enough and 87 would run better unless you screwed with the compression? Too much of a headache I prefer 87 or 89 to mix with my 2 cycle oil.

The smell of the exhaust that the racign fuel is something else too. Smells nothing like the regular stuff. My brother-in-law used to race superlate models and when there is like 30 or so cars a spewing that smell I cant help but get goosebumbs. There's nothing like the smell of turbo blue on a nice Summer Saturday morning at the track (except for a two cycle on a winters day).

I'm guessing, just guessing, that because his name in snowcrazed440, he has a factory race sled which are 440's, and all of the factory race sleds require 110 fuel premixed. So he has to run 110 or will risk seriously harming his engine.

And yes race fuel has a good smell, especially when mixed with klotz. (just as long as you don't smell tooo much!)

i was out on the ice last week and some guys with mod sleds were using it....as soon as i got a wiff of that sweet smell it reminded me of stock car racing in the summer.

Actually the leaded ones smell good and the unleaded ones will make your eyes tear! Some people have put a 1/2 gallon or so of race gas, just to get the smell. Believe me, you don't have to burn straight or 50/50 to get the smell.

Your right '03 440 SnoPro. But I'm not some hot shot racer. Just a guy who is going to give snocross a try for the first time this year. Beginner class in the MSXRA. Been going to events for years and the smell of race fuel is awesome!

You took the words right out of my mouth! We also run that combo in our Mercury 2.5 outboard drag motors.

That smell you smell in the race gas is Tolulene, Benzene, and Xylene. Good stuff, and cancerous too.
