has any body tried putting a triple into a edge yet. I know HTG has and its sweet but just wondering if any one has and if there were any problems and what pipes were used..... thanxxx

I have been thinking about it with an Ultra. I was considering a Pro-X chassis. I spent some time at a dealer waiting for some tractor stuff, and had time to scour one.

I think the pipes going through the shock tower area will be way to tight. On a regular EDGE i'm pretty sure the towers are a bit lower and wider. There's still the question of the Bulkhead. On the Pro-X it is built like a box that the motor drops into. The clutch side is OK, but the mag side would likely have to be cut out and boxed, or build a brace that comes up and over the recoil on a triple.

I was talking to the counter guy who said one of them had a 1500 in an EDGE for drag racing, and his biggest expense (besides the sled) was paying to have the pipes built. They got the motor from a wrecked XCR. He said it was such a tight space, there's so many bends that you really can't build 'em yourself.

So now I'm considering slapping the motor into my SKS (GEN II).
