took my xcr 600 out for a tool tonight sled started to foul a plug so i babied it to see if it will clean itself and i was going then all the sudden it died every thing shut down just like hitting the kill switch but i didnt hit it i stoped and opened the hood pulled her over once to see if it was seized and it pulled over gave her a couple pulls and she took off like nothing ever happened and the plug was even fireing right so any ideas what happened i put on 35 miles after that and it ran fine

thanks

Hey it's Travis, that is really wierd what happened to your sled never heard anything like that happening. I was wondering where you went riding tonight at? I was riding on Long Lake for about 3 hours today. There wasn't a whole lot of snow, some slushy spots too, but it was fun. Yesterday a friend and i went riding in Gaylord, the trails were pretty bumpy, but it was fun riding around the city. I couldn't believe how many Rev's were over there! :dazed: Any how we should get together and ride sometime.

Your sled died  You know now Murphy's law is going to kick in. It will happen again at the worst time possible. :dazed: wiring ?? I would check all connectors. Me I had a light problems :cussing: Wire was broken at connector in side plastic coting, took forever to fine it.
Best of luck

i doubt its wiring, it was probably more a gas issue.

probably just didnt get fuel flow for a moment and died. then after sitting a second and a couple pulls it fired back up and warmed up a little more and kept running like it should.

i wouldnt worry about it too much.

especially if the sled was still cold when this happened.

you might want to try replacing your fuel filter

This may sound stupid but is there any chance you hit the kill switch just enough to shut it off without actually the kill switch being off??

I am planning on going out riding tonight probably. I was thinking i might hit up some of the seasonal roads and maybe the trail by Omni and try out the plowed banks at Hinks school which is always a blast! Oh by the way i live just past Seymour's Groucery store right on Long Lake and am 17 years old. I would like to see how my 400 does up against you 600. :hallo1: If you want to ride just let me know when and where you want to meet at. Travis
