Ok, I admit it, I HAVE BEEN HAVING A RIOT with my T-Cat!! Since getting the carb switches fiqured out - this thing ROCKS!! I spent the better part of 5 hours drag racing it yesterdat and doing VERY well until something let loose in the chain case.
I haven't had a chance to pull the cover on the chain case to find out for sure what happened but I have a gut feeling the chain broke (thing gets the wholeshot EVERYTIME = not easy on the chain!)... I noticed that the stock chain for this sled is a 72x13. I also noticed that 72x15 is available and wondered if anyone has tryed going with the wider chain for durability? IF so, what are the procedures for doing so? Also, what are you guys running for chain/gear lube?
As always - THANKS!!

Butternutz is right about one thing - THIS THING EATS MACH-Z's for din/din :hallo1: I have owned them both now and this T-Cat is WAY more motor!! Holding the ski's up at 105 is AWESOME!!

Damn never thought I would ever read those words  J/J. Glad to hear your T-cat is dominating and the 98's T-Cats were very strong sleds and will put a hurting on anything out there. Like 00 T-Cat said you can switch the the 15 but will have to go with wider gears too.

Thanks for the info guys!! Also, about the Butternutz comment, I have had LOTS of different brands of sleds and all sizes (I buy and sell for a living). I really enjoyed the 98 Mach Z that I kept and rode for a while - it was a fun sled too. However, this T-Cat is by far superior in its performace - fricken TORQUE to the MOON!! I ride a LOT of 100 mph plus stuff here on the back of our waste water. Lots of fresh powder to deal with, that being said - THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THE AWESOME HP OF THE T-CAT for this!! MY MachZ would just get tired of being pinned all the time trying to do anything close to what I am putting the T-Cat thru!!! I am VERY impressed with this Cat and have a smile on my face EVERY time I pull the trigger - and Butternutz, every time I watch one of those Z's disappear behind me when we are drag racing I think of YOU!!! Now I gotta go find out what happened to my chain!
Thank guys!
