What is everybody using? I plan to mount it between the handlebars.

I used the marine mount. Works very well and allows some adjustment (tilt). I sure wish the power cord was intergraged like a Sportrak GPS..

How is this fastened? I was thinking about a handlebar mount myself.

www.gpscity.com - best selection and lowest prices I've been able to find.

There's also GPSCentral (http://www.gpscentral.ca).

I think I will be using the RAM-B-149-GA5 (as shown at http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories/ram-etrex.htm) assuming the REV handlebars are 1" diameter or less.

Here's a picture of my RAM mount on my REV. It's a little hard to see, but the RAM U-Bolt mount is mounted to the handlebars on the right side I can send a larger picture if somebody is interested.

Could you tell me where you got that case. I am looking at putting together a heater bag, and your mount and case look perfect to me.

gsx600sdi- I dont know about Ontriders case, but I have heard of many people just finding a cell phone cover that is close to the size of their Gps and using that.

Dear old mom made it for me from nylon, velcro to hold it on, and some clear plastic for the face... Maybe I can start a lucrative business selling GPS cases :)

Don't mean to but in, but my bars are not "exposed" like the REV's, so I am having a hard time finding a way to mount my GPS. I have the same model as 04renegade600HO, Etrex Legend.

Hard to find a way to make it secure enough to handle the rough stuff.

Are you able to mount it on the dash somewhere? Either that or find a foam section from the handlebars at a wrecker and customize it?

That might work, I am going to a CK3 shop anyways, so I could see if he has any extra bar pads. The good thing about something like that is I buy some other more expensive things and say "throw the bar pad in and I'll take it!"

Thanks for the idea. I didn't want to ruin my orig. pad, but a spare would be nice!
