Here's the deal. I have a 2000 t-cat. dyno's around 185hp with safe jetting. Its all straped down with a 9811 speed track with 200 G-2 thrusters. It will not spin the track on good ice. Instead it will burn the belt real bad. I can smell it and sometimes i can even see smoke. The clutches are both hot after a pass. if i roll into it a say 10mph and hit it, it doesn't do it as bad. I can't seem to snap this thing out of the hole like some of my buddies with other brand sleds. he is what i'm running up front and in back.

primary:
heel clickers with alot of heal weight , gold heal clicker spring (they say its for drag racing) shimmed spider with .050 shim.
the motor is turnning right on the money. 3800 engagement. HEELCLICKERS seemed to help the belt burnning problem but not completely.

secondary:
60/52 helix
green spring in middle hole

running a 1000ft with 23/39 gears. pulls really hard all the way through.

I really need some help from someone who drag races. I have ridden other sleds that leave so hard it feels like someone has kicked you in the a** when the clutch engages, no belt slip at all. unfortunately these guys are not cat guys.

if you didnt misspell like me you said 3800 engagement thats a long way from a drag setup im thinkin if youre able to get hooked, 45-4800 maybe more if you can keep it down, as far as youre burnin the belt sounds like the drive clutch is binding, or maybe youve got to much difflection on the belt, id try settin it up with the track turnin a little on the stand keep it tight on the lower side of the clutch so its in the lowest possible gear, also check for broken motor mounts and hope youve got a extra tourqe stop, good luck.
