I have 2 rhino 120's.........they're great
..........I'm currently building quite a nice snowmobile trail database in the fernie area. The peer to peer gps has saved us a whack of time on a few occasions.
We're using them here, too. Do you have the enhanced base maps? The detail is incredible.

Are you able to upload those TOPO maps into a Gramin unit?
No. You can create tracks and waypoints on ozi, and upload them to your gps. Get the enhanced maps from garmin.

unfortunately in canada there are'nt any topos available to download on the garmin................
I have the full set for the NWT and Alberta. They are used with Ozi Explorer. I'm sure someone has digitized topo maps for your area.

What all can you do with the Rhino 120? Obvisously it has the mapping feature. But does it track where you've been, speedometer, can you plot way-points, does it have a basic compass. Do you download maps from the internet or is there software that comes with it?

It tracks, you can add waypoints and routes, it has a speedometer, odometer, and any other basic and advanced GPS features. Thers is lots of software that works with it. If you have a laptop, you can track realtime onto a topo map using ozi explorer.
