A tragic accident but what were 2 young kids doing out on a snowmobile that late at night especially on a weeknight?

It pains me to hear stories like that. I can't even imagine what the families must be going through.

This is one time when it didn't pay to be young, foolish and carefree. Don't know the specifics but at that age you think you're indestructable.

Very sad. I have a 12 year old that just received his sledding license. Just scared to death of him getting hurt on the trails. :(

Yeah, I saw that on the news last night. I feel bad for the parent's. The sled looked like a V-max. Too much sled for a 13 year old if you ask me.

I agree with ShortBus-what were they doing out on a weeknight alone? I feel for the parent's but don't they bear some of the responsibility? Kind of like the parent's that let their kids go to Michael Jackson's place............

It's tough to restrict the use of sleds for younger kids, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind, and it makes you feel like a heel, but the alternative is worse.

Well if it is anything like my VMax It is too much sled for anyone that does not have a few years experiance. The speedo is on the other side of 80 before you even realize your still squeezing the throttle.
