My life consists of school, then out on the lake all day riding and watching drags. I have seen ZR 9's run anywere from 110-18mph. I was also pretty shocked to see a T-CAT embarras a 900 :sleepy:

While we're on the subject, what clutching/gearing combos have you guys tried on your 900s? Haven't had time to tinker much this winter...
Butternutz, consider yourself warned! If you are going to post, make it worth reading. Don't be posting just to cause problems! :cussing:

Why would you be shocked. A T-Cat has VERY long legs.

I believe the 900's are only geared to run 117. Mine was running around 120 as I had it running at 7600rpm, with speedwerxs heads, pipe and clutching and v-force 2's and a powerbreather with the guts out of the air box. Note I said WAS running during a wot run ( I was wide open for well over a mile ) I thought I heard a "she's breaking up scotty,, I don't know how much more she'll take" The the engine grenaded and thats all she wrote, LOL still waiting for parts. Good to be back, been underway with the Guard for a while. But over christmas break I ran the crap outa my 925. Talked to the previous owner and found out more about the sled. It used to be his grass and ice drag sled before it became his trail sled and now my sled. He ran consistant mid to high tens, and I believe it. Its gearing takes a little out of the top end, but it SCREAMS from 0 -110. the only compitition I had was from my buddies '02 moutain cat 900 with the D&D 1010 kit. His problem was the 151 track, which kept his front bumper just behind mine tail light for the entire four day weekened up in the lake effect machine of New York. Sleds beaten, the 1010 mountain cat with comparible work. a 678 kitted '02 ZR600 previous grass dragger. '03 ZR 900. '02 Zert 600 with moderate mods. And two polaris 700's that had serious amounts of work but didnt stand a chance. Not to brag or bost, cause I am sure there a couple a sleds out there that can beat me, but so far only the 1010 has come close.
