Rebuildable shocks should be serviced once a year or every 2000 miles. I service Fox, ACT and RydeFX brands using Amsoil Shock Therapy synthetic shock oil. Rebuild rates are $25 for std. shocks, $35 for clickers or reservoir shocks and $55 for dial adjust. These prices include oil only, parts are extra if required. Turn around is normally 2-3 days from the day I get the shocks. I'm located in Plymouth MN near the intersection of 394 & 494. I accept cash, checks or Paypal for those who need to ship their shocks. Call me at 763-449-9472 or my cell at 763-458-2909. E-mail:dlsdave@hotmail.com ……….. Dave at DLS Enterprises.

Are RydeFX shocks any good?

Compared to say Fox?

In my opinion and from past experience I think the Ryde FX shocks are better all around shocks than Fox. This is comparing the shocks on my '02 ProX fan to what was on my '98 XCR 440 and the Ryde FX shocks seem to last quite a bit longer between rebuilds than what the Foxes did. I ran the '02 for 2 seasons of sno-x and the oil in the fronts still looked like brand new. I had the rears rebuilt 2x and it was the same thing. The guy that rebuilds my shocks said the same thing that the Ryde FX's seem to be an all around better built shock. I think part of the reason is that the Ryde FX's have a 1 piece seal and the older (anyways) Fox had the one piece split seal which could have something to do with why they seemed to need more frequent rebuilds.
