I was just wondering whats the fastest u have seen a SRX 700 stock go in like say 0-3000'.. or longer..just wanna know the fastest uve ever hit

A buddy has hit 118, stock.

I haven't had mine on the radar as yet, but I'd suspect it would be 115 anyways. Modded one's have hit the 125+ mark.

Mine is completely stock, had it up to 190k before studs, which is about 118, before my windshield buckled against a strong wind (I had a 1 missing windshield push bolt) and backed off. I figured it still had about 10 mph left. Factoring in that speedos tend to be out on the high side that'd probably put top end around 115 - 118. The beauty of it is that the machine didn't quit pulling until I hit 185k, I mean no sense of slowing down until that point. While it doesn't particularily pull out of the hole much faster than some of my friends' 600's, around 60mph they are decreasing their rate of acceleration and mine keeps on pulling. The linear acceleration is astounding.

I have seen 118-120 and this was a tech`ed sled on radar in 2000 ft
and the same guy ran 117 in 1/4 on the pavement ,one of best top end
sleds ever made ------and it only a 700.

118 exact. My father has ported cylinders, cold air kit, can., jetted, clutch kit, studs, and he reads 125+ :D

LOL 115 on a 700? jesus......my little 340enticer with a 109c cometclutch, bored 40 over with wiseco pistons,rings and head gasket set does 90mph!!!!!!!!! :hallo1: :devil: :D :p :) now lets see thats only a 25 mph difference..... am i wrong? please i could have my sled beating the skiddo rev and edge x and your wussy sleds lol

In that dream world my SRX goes 175 mph in the quarter mile, but in ordinary reality I'm pretty happy with 115. I hear they go even faster if you mainline tequila and then eat a couple of ounces of magic mushrooms. It's safer to drive in ordinary reality though. Generally speaking consensual reality is usually your best bet. Usually you get ridiculed a lot less too (living in ordinary reality) because people take you a lot more seriously. Having had a previous machine which legitimately did go 90 mph (Indy 500) I can tell you that the last 25 mph adds a fair bit of thrill value, not to mention it gets there a heck of a lot faster.

90mph lol, My GF's Phazer tops at 90-95 and she weighs 125ish. You must have one mean enticer, or a seriously off speedo. lol How great it would make me feel to get passed by an old enticer 340 on my 680 lol.

The 118 listed above by me was on radar....

We went out on sunday with the gun on a plowed road about a 2000ft run these are the speeds we seen..........

2003 ZR 900 1.375 track (not sure)......112mph

2001 SRX ripsaw track (stock)..........112mph

1998 SRX 1" track (not stock drag set up).....108mph

1997 Mach 1 ,136"+1.25 (studs)(not stock)...107mph

2003 REV 1.25 track (not stock).......103mph (i think)

2002 XC 800 (not stock)......101mph

2003 XC 700 (not stock).......100 mph

it was all just for fun.....and when i say not stock i just mean the clutching and gearing ,no one had any engine mods.........we all expected to hit bigger numbers ,because we all hit pretty close to those numbers on the lake.

It must take that enticer a few weeks of wide-open to get to that speed, or are you going off of a cliff. If your enticer does go that fast that is very impressive. But that extra 25mph takes either a really well setup sled or alot more power.

Take that 340 out of the back of your truck, then see how fast it goes. Then after you get towed back take an SRX for a ride if someone will let you. It will be a long time before your grin goes away

I would tell you how fast they go but unfortunetly I can't catch em !

my enticer does 90 on radar. am not sh!t!n you either. almost every thing on its performance. instead of buying a new sled i make an even better 1!! :hallo1:
i have a custom made chassis and hood. instead of 1 pipe i have 2 custum pipes coming out the sides of the bellpan. its gotta cold air kit,no air box just a oversized pod filter, the heads are cut down, i put a battery on it and i have neon lights on the sides of the belly pan continueing up where the is down near the chassis and around the back. since the belly pan is custom i had it made pointed. instead of the 1/2 inch lugs it has 1 1/2 lugs with 168 scorpion carbide studs. i have a mikuni carb. instead of it being a 4 stroke now its a 2 stroke<<<the best!!!!
it broke so i took off the oil tank and pluged the hose with a bolt. now i mix it w/ a ratio 50:1 12 fl oz of yamalube with 5 gallons of high octane gas. 1 fl oz of water remover. i have the gearing and clutching changed. like i said almost every thing is performance pertty much except for the tie rods. thats about it. my track suspenion is 8 inches. i have custom front shocks with a trail arm.

now u think that all that couldn&#39;t make a freakin 340 enticer do 90+ on a radar?! im thinking about rebuilding the top again.

The high octane gas would slow you down even further than the 68mph max speed you COULD do. Get a life little boy.

I always wondered how to change a 4 stroke to a 2 stroke , never knew it was as simple as a carb change :D I bet those "neon lights" added topend because they create a "reverse ionic effect" resulting in some "eddie current flows" around the machine - therebye resulting in less resistance to travel or , put in laymens terms, more top speed.. Sounds to me like the kid has really got something goign there!! On the other hand, maybe taking the little Yamaha out of the back of the truck is not a bad idea either :lol:
