I was wondering if someone could tell me if the stroke on a 2000 Zrt 800 is the same as the 00 thundercat. If so would thundercat jugs and pistons bolt on to Zrt 800. * *Thanks

I was told the 800 & the T-Cat have the same bottom end.

Bottom ends are not the same. If you want 1000cc, bore the cylinders.

:withstupid:

LOL The big number here is the WP size.. you cannot use a 1000 bottom on a 800 or 900 cc sled without some serious mods to the cylinders.

I have built a lot of 1004 cc engines out of 800 ZRT's.
You need to get 3 1999 or 2000 ZR 700 pistons.

You need to call D&D and order the 3 spacer shims.

I always pay the extra shipping and have them bored and shipped back to me.
Then I port all the cylinders and send them back to get plated.
Then I polish them and finish them up.
Then you need to have the domes of the head reshaped and cut them to get the compression back up since you shimed the cylinder.
