I am having a problem with my 2000 Zr 700 whenever I ride in deep snow. If it gets the least bit of snow inside the hood, it starts to run rough and wont idle right. Is this because the carbs are freezing or could it be an electrical problem? It's worst when really cold out. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening or is it common with carberated models like this. Have another sled, a ZL 500 efi,and its doesnt have any problems.

this may not even be on but, look at where all the electriclly connections are, around and near where the come out of flywheel stator area, take them all apart and put some dielectric grease in the conectors, and if it does have some kind of wrap to go around all the connectors put one on there, try that may have mositure gettin into connectors
