I raced his 583, a F5, and a ZL500 with my ZR580.

it went F5, 583, 500, 580

and my friend said his dads zl600 will dust the F5, but he says he raced a ZR600 and beat that to. oh well, its to confusin.

zr would win unless the doo has work done to it.

The 583 will beat the ZR 95% of the time :)

Not sure on the 2001 and up APV 600 Cats,but the non powervalve 6 will lose against a 583

ZR600's are totally different than the 580, the difference is astounding.

Dont judge them by the pre-2001 models either, they got the APV in 2001.

I would put my money on the 583 anyday. The ZR models never had anything special in them from the begining.

there's lots of things to consider....like vtjq said "setup". hell, even a new belt could make the difference.
