Who's thinking of moving over to the RIDE-FORWARD sleds?

Missing another day here again because I was pounded on the F7 yesterday

Go to any race around the country and those @)_(%*%$ REV's are dominating. If I ever get hurt on the track and people come to help me and see green on the snow it isn't anti-freeze. It's my blood. Yes I bleed green but if you want to win the REV is the way to go. Oh ya. One more thing. Yes I still ride Arctic Cats. Z440 SnoPro and '03 liquid SnoPro.

only bringing it up because I get absolutely pounded on my F7. I'm too f-in light in body weight...it's like riding a frick'n mechanical bull all day. When I get on the REV I feel totally in control... I'm driving it, it's not beating me like a red headed stepchild. Also, that REV 800HO goes like frick'n stink with my body weight 165lbs? The Blair I have no problem running down ... at 95 mph it's like he's throwing out a pharachute L! But the 800ho.... don't know.... local guy with the one I drove hasn't lost to an F7 yet

Can't help but love the look of my F7, but the REV is making more sense all the time... my spine is not getting any younder either at 37

I haven't rode a REV yet but have set on a couple in the showrooms and really like how they feel. I ride 4-wheelers alot and the rider forward position just seems so natural, but being die hard Cat lover I'll enjoy what they have. Hopefully for 05 they'll put the 04 sno-pro chasis into production with the firecats.

I rode the rev at my dealer,,,,everybodies opinion is different,,,,,it is a nice sled, but it isnt for me by a long shot. I couldnt walk after putting on 200 miles on one. if you have bad knees or your heavy at all,,,I cant see how you could like the rev,,,I understand the concept and have no arguements that it is a good set up,,,for the right person

oh yeah,,,,I too bleed green,,,and WE ARE THE DARKSIDE!!!!!

My brother had his new REV out for the first time this weekend and there is not one thing I liked about it. Aside from being uglier than sin, he had a hell of a time starting it after it died after initial start-up. He probably pulled on it 30 times before it finally started again. I went over to my EFI cat and it started on the 3rd pull in -10° F. I was out riding around and he was still pulling. Even if it does ride nice, I would not be able to get over all of the other intangibles. I will bleed green (or molten metallic, in my case) forever. EFI cats rule!

spenc, i see your posts all over different sites and have a question. if you are so sure that a rev is what u want then why dont u sell me your F7 cheap and go out and get a rev. but one thing i have noticed that not a lot of doo riders are saying anything about the problems the F7s had last year, cause there revs have a load of problems by the sounds of it to. which is to bad, but it happens to all the manufacturers. but really, if u think u need a rev that bad, advertize your F7 and it wont be long before its sold then go get your rev.

I could move to a rev pretty easy, the sled just suits me. I really like it in the tight bumpy stuff thats were this thing really shines.

If you want to see some wild REV's , look no further than Jim's Performance in Iroquois, Ont. Jim Primrose ( owner ) has always kept a nice sled up each season and this year his own Customized REV 800HO has to be seen! All the side panels are painted which gives the sled a really rich look...tunnel's polished etc. If I was buying a REV, and that's not out of the quesion just yet with this F7 still not coming out of the hole.... I'd be ordering one of Jim's 'special' REV's. 1 613 652 2245 ( tell him 'Spenc' sent you )

They had the new RED 600HO SDI in a crate... I'll have to get back down and shoot some pics once they have one together.

I to would like to give a REV a try but after talking to a few who have them they have all told me that they are not that good for the tight twistys but are great for large mogals and straight line running. I will most likely end up getting an F5 next. SWRules

i never get sore riding my firecat.
BUT,rather then bashing the f-cat,
why dont you just sell it?..
and go get the rev!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's what i would do.
complaining is not an option.
life is just too short.

It'll be interesting to see in the near future if all the manufactures end up with a Rev type sled. There is something good about all of the different sleds, now we just need someone to take the best of each and combine them.

I think you're going to see Polaris take a stab at it next season. Unfortunately for anyone ready to jump ship now, it's going to take them a few years to get their 'new' shyt together.

Meanwhile SKI DOO who's virtually got it down to a science will be out with a REV800HO SDI or bigger SDI and will DOMINATE the new buyer market.

My neighbor went from a pair of cats to a pair of REVs. Pros and Cons.....likes the way they ride the bumps and comfortable all day, but doesn't steer worth a damn. Knocked one of his mirrors off already in the first 300 miles. He liked the ZRs and would have went with a new 600 if they still made them, but. I figured I'll wait until next year when cat intros their new rider forward and head up to kick his A$$

Do you really think CAT is bringing Rider Forward to the market? Don't you think CAT , POO and YAMMI look pretty stupid bringing what someone else has had for the last few years now? Polaris is so far behind the 8 ball, I'm surprised they sell ANY sleds period. CAT better get off their 'straight line' stubborness and FAST!

cat , poo, yammie will likely have a close to rider forward sled but they wont go to the extreme of skidoo by going to the rev stile and nothing else. and why would they be stupid? cat was the first sled with slide rail suspension, now they all have it. cat was the first with a arms, and quess what, the others have it. its called competition. and that is what makes improvments on all the sleds so everyone can enjoy.

i think cat will probably make their firecats like their 04' 440 race sled. higher seat, bars forward, etc. i dont think it'll do them wrong.

I agree. Be a leader not a follower. Unless I'm wrong the prostock class is being led by Crapo on a Cat. I have nothing against the Rev but, be a leader not a follower. Ride green.
