Okay. My 00 Zr 600 Efi seems to have a slight problem, Every now and then I hit the Gas, it revs up alittle, then bogs down. It always seems to come back though. Never dies out, just like there was no response.. Seem to get worse when I was playing in the powder this weekend.. But after that, got better. It only seems to do it once and a while.. Any one else have any problems like this? Maybe something in throtel body that can be cleaned?? I not sure what i can do with out spending major $$$ to try and fix it. Thanks

I have a 98 zr500 and mine did the same thing. I unpluged the kill switch and it ran perfect.

already did that. when it was plugged in it kept backfiring. but still got a bog.

anyone know whats goin on?

Did you try disconnecting the entire kill switch assembly/throttle body?
How are the plugs?
Check for water in the gas...

I dumped a whole lot of isopropyl in er and put it in the heated garage and unhooked whole throttle body and runs like a top now so try er out. also went to a br10es plug it is supposed to run 9's but they were running to hot.

had same prob this weekend... got great running sled in some powder and found out the coil gets wet and lousy spark results.. idles,and gentle mid ok, but no top end... changed coil mid ride, and all is perfect since, including the major powder riding that followed!! check it out..
