: Is This Right?
Russ Wheeler 01-25-2004, 07:14 PM I was looking through the auto trader classifieds and i saw this...
http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details.asp?mk...tegory=-1&CAT=7 (http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details.asp?mknm=-1&Region=&subcategory=-1&CAT=7)
is that how much these things actually go far?
alright that link won't work for some reason...try copying and pasting this...[copythis!]http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details.asp?mknm=762&Region=&subcategory=-1&CAT=7[/copythis!]
Russ, that link is no good my man!
Russ Wheeler 01-25-2004, 07:37 PM You are correct...it worked before???
anyway it's a link to an elite for sale, 2004 brand new....but 25g? common!
i'll see if i can fix the link
revrnd 01-25-2004, 08:33 PM That's the new side by side Elite. Yep, that's the price. Only 500 were built.
MXZonly 01-25-2004, 08:39 PM I thought they were gonna be $18,000?
FreezerBurnt 01-25-2004, 08:51 PM $18,000 American
$26,000 Canuck :sly:
get the Elite and put the supercharger from the Seadoo with same engine :hallo1: w00t
snokid 600 01-25-2004, 08:52 PM my dealer is selling them for 17,000 us I asked them so 25,000 is way to steep unless its in CAN.
Ian
MXZOOoom 01-25-2004, 09:11 PM Yep there is three of them right here on the Eastern Ontario trails.
One of them has all the options, you know..like a radio lol...
Total was a little over $32,000.00 Can
LB700 01-26-2004, 10:55 AM I'm looking forward to getting one -- you know, on my 90th birthday (40 years hence).
I WILL go for the turbo option (unless they are all hydrogen-cell powered by then).
CORY9 01-26-2004, 11:20 AM Man, that is one expensive toy!! 25 grand and you need to put a turbo on it too???
Yipes, need a second mortgage for that :D
RacerX408 01-26-2004, 12:07 PM two wheel motorsport in Guelph has one. i tried talking Ron Ashley into having a demo day for it so i could test it out. :D he said the only way i would be driving it is if i gave him $25,000 and i could do whatever i wanted with it :slick: not sure it would hold up to the pounding my 440 goes through tho.
I've driven one and was surprised at the power. If you do ride one, be sure to wear a helmet, as the roll cage is mighty hard! If I hadn't had one on, I would have been knocked silly (sillier) a few times.
SD_Sledhead 01-26-2004, 01:26 PM What are they like to drive Zog? Do they have a gas pedal and steering wheel or handle bars with thumb throttle??
They need alot more ski pressure, as they tend to push through corners. However, it's very difficult to adjust the limiter straps on the Elite. It has a yoke like an airplane, with a thumb throttle. Very cool!
skidoo175 01-26-2004, 08:45 PM I saw one on the weekend at the Owen Sound races. Pretty cool. Punchy and another few guys were cruising around in it for a bit. $25,000 is a little steep. But if you are and older couple just into cruising it is no more than 2 new sleds would be. Plus, 1/2 gas, no oil (4-stroke). Etc. Worth it in my opinion.
flower picker 01-26-2004, 10:38 PM They have one at St. Onge Recreation in Barrie. Looks like it would be fun to take it out for a ride.
