I am a 16 year old I just bought the powder special 600 efi like 3 months ago but am very unhappy with the performance and reliablity, i just did 1500 worth of engine work also. I am wanting to trade it in on a 04 F7 but not sure what i will get for my sled in can. $ and if it would bepossible to deal with them at this age?

If you just got the sled, and have just dumped more money into if, I would think it's best to hold on to it for the rest of the season at least to try and get some of your money out of it. Is the sled paid for in full? If not, it wouldn't sell it now, because you would most likely take a big loss on it, and then turn around and buy/finance another new sled. Would be digging a big hole IMO.

:withstupid: Wait till fall and pick up a left over 04 F7 alot cheaper then one right now. You shouldn't have any problems being 16 and doing any dealing, just becareful they dont try to take advantage of you. If you find they don't take you serious bring your dad in with you. I got my ZRT at 17 and had no problems also had enough money in the bank for it. Depending on the shape and condition of your sled I would think you should be able to get around $3500

I would also wait, see if you can iron out the problems with your sled and maybe get a good deal on a leftover.

You dont want to start having too many payments this early in your existance.

I have the sled totally paid for but yes it would be nice to get an 04 next fall without the boys knowing and showing up on the lakes with a sweet sled for a good price.thanks

right now Arctic Cat is offering a second year warranty as an incentive, its not a bad time to buy right now, just a bad time to trade in because the dealers are already getting ready for spring
