I have EGT's on my 01 700 mxz w/DPM. It has the cudney 670 kit and is trail ported w/Boyesen reeds and spacers, after market can. I still run the stock 520 main jets w/pilots bumped up to a 20. Since I have added 1 more nylon washer under the stock needle the hottest i have seen my EGT's are a slow climbing 1279 then it stays at that, this happens at about 6,000. At that point you give it more gas and they drop down to about 1150 - 1200 degrees. This was recorded on a -8 degree morning. The spacers did bring down the temps. Is the 1100 mark a tad Rich? Piston wash is good, plugs have a small spec of white, I plan to go to a BR10ES.
