:rolleyes: :dazed: I have a 1998 vmax xt it uses 2 quarts of oil to 1/2 tank of gas. I have checked the settings on the pump and they are at factory specs. I was wondering if it is possible for a pump to go bad and pump full oil all the time. i have heard of them going bad and not pumping enough oil but never to much. If anyone can help with this please do. :( :( :( :( :confused:

i'm pretty sure v-maxes are known for using alot of oil.

Thats way too much oil. I would take it to the dealer and have them check the pump out. It sounds if it is bad... .02
