My project tonight was a 2" riser and some handguards. The riser was easy, just had to reroute a couple of wires. The handguards were a different story. I had to do a lot of cutting, reroute wires, drill out rivets & re-rivet the handguards, even re-bend the brake cable. All-in-all, it was worth the work, and the $75. Tomorrow, I tackle the skid plate, easy steer, and the studs.

Sportech.

I got them at Dennis Kirk for $52.99 including mounting hardware. They're probably easier to install on other sleds, I just had to get a little creative on mine :D

Nice looking sled. The colors look great with each other. I also had a '96 Zert and that is still one of my favorite hood and chassis combos. If a guy could only put a ZR's suspension and ergos on that chassis, it would be an awesome sled.

Looks good, Zr. I don't usually like the looks of handguards, but they look nice on your ZR.

I did the same thing on mine. My handlebar guards weren't to bad but i did have to trim some plastic and tip the brakes. I'll try to get a pic. Nice looking sled by the way.

Nice looking sled zr580  The belly pan and hood screens really spruce the front of the sled up. How about adding some orange ski handles.

I've been looking for some online, but can't find any :( Where did you get yours?

My skis are 2001 Arctic Cat plastic.

I got mine at my dealer, they were actaully a used pair so I got them for abuot $15 CAD. Check your dealer, if they dont have any in stock then they can order them up. In the 04 Catalog they cost $30 CAD and $20 USD. The orange part number is 0639-201.
