I like the idea of reeds and I'm always looking to improve performance but I have to ask "what does it do to mileage". I have a 99 ZL 600 carbed ( 10.5 gal tank ) with a clutch kit and jetted down a couple of sizes. *It runs good but always room for improvement. Any info on reeds and mileage would be great. Already planning this summers modifications.

You may want to try to do a search on the cat forum on "REEDS"... there's been a lot of talk about them. *Basically what I've read is that the consensus says they give you better throttle response. *The jury is still out whether it gives you more HP, but I doubt it does anything with Mileage.... you are still moving the same amount of fuel into the cylinders.....
