When Rotax came out with the cylinder reed motors, all the so called experts in the magazines, said they wouldn't work. How was Rotax able to "doo what they did? Or was it a situation where it was an idea that had never been tried before. Anyone read any theory in books on the cylinder reed operation?

hi there ; * actualy my old cats have cylinder mounted reeds.i think they figured out that u made a little more ponies getting the fuel right in the case where skidoo had it for years with the rotary valve. but u could make hp out both systems.
