In Cooperation With the Foots Bay / Glenn Orchard Fire Dept. Stn.1 and the Bass Lake House Restaurant and Tavern
Proceeds of this event will be dedicated to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Snow Run For Fun organization and the Foots Bay / Glenn Orchard Fire Dept. for the purchase of much needed rescue equipment. We have teamed up with some of the finest folks in this part of the country and beyond to bring to you a an event that we hope will become an annual occurrence.
On February 7th 2004 on the frozen surface of Bass Lake in the heart of cottage country located in the town of Mactier, On. A convergence of over 200 snowmobiles and countless number of spectators will bear witness to some of the fastest sleds in North America will be doing battle on the lake to establish their supremacy within the exclusive 160 MPH club. With over 4000' of overall track length with marked distances at 2000', 1320', 1000', and 660' with a dedicated return there will be plenty of groomed track for big speeds and nice safe shutdowns.
Where: On Bass Lake located on HWY 169 4kms west of hwy 69 in Mactier Ontario. The course is located directly across the high way from the Bass Lake House Restaurant and Tavern. Click here for maps and directions.
Entry Fees: $20 for 2 runs additional runs can be purchased for $5 (time permitting).A Radar runs special event hat will be included in the initial entry fee.
Classes: Stock, Trail Stock, Improved stock, Pro-Stock, Mod and Open classes will be competing for award and prize contingencies at an estimated value of over $5000.
Awards: Presentation ceremony will be held directly after racing ends at the Bass Lake House. They will be serving their full menu or a Italian style buffet dinner available starting at 6pm at the cost of $16.95 per person.
