After a week of single digit temperatures (perfect time for some moisture to move our way) and no precipitation other than some ice, today it warms up to the upper 30's and it's been coming down like he!!....RAIN that is!!!! :hallo1: Not that I expect a whole lot of the white stuff down here by St Louis, MO anymore, but we usually seem to have only one of two things needed for good snow, like someone is teasing us: precipitation OR cold temps, we never seem to have both at the same time. :cussing: This was supposed to be two days of snow, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO....this little warm front had to come push it's nose our direction, keeping the snow about 100 miles north of us. Have I mentioned that this just really !@##$% me off?!?!?!

OK, going for a soda, session over!!!!

OOOPS...got me so frustrated I couldn't spell weather correctly!!!

I feel for yah Jim, but here we are in Northern Ontario and the trail system around has barely has enough cover to ride on. Nothing but rocks and stumps.

Better go get that soda! :D

We had a 'nice' day here, atleast for the normal people who dont dream and pray for snow every night. It was sunny and and a couple degrees over the freezing mark, which resulted in melting the little bit of snow we have :cussing: . Suppose to be warm again tomorrow and then snow and rain for Wensday, then back down to below freezing and snow on the weekend

Don't worry Jim, we'll get our snow soon enough. We still have a full month of possibilities. Remember last year, it was Feb 20th and we got our snow.

I'm getting the bug again too, but staying busy so I don't have time to think about it. The only problem is seeing the big sled trailer in my drive way each time I come home too... And the sleds in the shed....

Come to think of it I'm getting a little whizzed off too! :cussing: :cussing:

Joel, I guess we should keep the faith. Raindrops just switched over to huge flakes the size of quarters. I'm afraid the ground may be too wet by now, but looks like it will be snowing for quite a few hours. THE WEATHER (http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USIL0089?from=search_city) is somewhat promising for the end of the week, with snow showing up on Friday and Saturday, alledgedly.

Well guys I hear ya. The last couple of storms we have had they predicted large amounts of snow and we got little to none. Yesterday they were saying that we could get 12" by today, it didn't start to snow until 4pm and it has stopped???? I just stopped looking at the weather so I don't get mad. They predict snow and I say I will believe it when I see it?

Our problem was we wouldn't get snow until the temps got below zero. We would get 2-4 inches with a 40 mile per hour wind = now snow on the trails!!!!! I have to get a job as a weather man. The only job I know where you can be wrong all the time and still have a job :hallo1: :hallo1: :cussing: :cussing:
