One of the clips that hold the piston pin in place came out and did some serious damage to the cylinder wall and piston.
I think it is nikasil plated but I'm not sure, It's a 2000 MX-Z 700. Just wondering if anyone has some tips(help) on fixing the jug(resleeving, replating) or just buy a new one,the damage is about 3/16" deep.
THANX....

You're cylinder is probably nikasil. You can get a re-man cyl. from your dealer or you can send it off to get it repaired. It would take a couple of weeks to get your cylinder repaired. You can probably get a re-man from your dealer in a couple of days for about the same price as getting it repaired without the wait.
