Can someone please answer my question about Helix's. When a helix has a number like 47/44. What the 47 mean and how will that change the sled performance? Also 44?

Thanks.

The 47 is the start angle. The higher the start angle, is like starting in a higher gear. It puts the motor under more load on take off. The 44 is the finish angle that is were you are shifted out. If you were to take like a 49/46 angle helix you might have a better hole shot and quicker ET in so many feet but slower speed as long as you can hold peak RPMs. But ET wins races!!! Hope this helps you out,I would have to write a book to get into it. (Later)
