Beat the heck out of Yamamutt three weeks ago. Rough trails, rode hard. Limped home with misaligned clutches because the engine had gone a bit twisted.
I had found I had a missing engine mount bolt. And seemingly unrelated damaged fan. I pulled it apart , got a new fan, and was reassembling today, with full intentions of riding tomorrow, when I discovered the bottom of the crankcase, where the fan housing and another engine mount bracket bolts through, was cracked. A little nudge and it fell off in my hand.
So it's done for. I'm parting it out. Not putting any more money into it. The sled has cost me almost $1500, for around 800 miles I put on it. Not a good ratio. And every time I ride, I end up spending 3 times as long fixing what broke.

I know how you feel....I fixed mine up too for the last time, going to keep as a second sled tho....to mutch $$$in it to sell just yet.
