I bought an ultra 2 years ago and now the studs are shot. *I have never dealt with studs before and I dont know my options. *If i take out my old studs do I need to put new ones in the old holes or can I leave them open. *My track is still in good condition and I would like to try it with out studs. The sled is piped and I goes like #### Will there be a huge difference in any thing? *anyone give me some opinions or ideas anything helps http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/baaa.gif

Hello,

*You do not have to re-stud if you don't want to. *After you remove the studs ( use a little heat to warm up the nyloc ) burn the holes with a small torch or lighter. *You just have to burn the threads in the track so they dont frey. *You should be able to run the sled a long time with holes in the track. *I don't know how many studs you have, but as long as it's not 192 + you should be ok.

Good Luck
