Hi all, you guys got any tips for a newbie racer wanna be type? I just picked up my first sled ever (2001 mxzx 440) and would like to get into the race scene a.s.a.p. I'm planning on logging some trail time on her for a while so I can get better aquained, but also plan on running some open practice on some local sno-x tracks round these parts (Detroit MI). You guys have any advice on sled set up (180lb. rider -stock sled) and safety gear. Perhaps there is a good link out there where i can edu-ma-cate myself on some of this stuff?

Well, weekend went pretty good untill i snapped my drive chain :( I'm pretty happy with the sled but I still need some suspension advise (btw: thanks for all the replies, it's been very informative :christmas: ), and possibly another 360cc of diplacement :hallo1:
