Well I had the oppertunity to be in the Pits becuase my Girlfriends dad was on a pit crew. Anyhow, noticed a few things. First was if you think the RX1 is too slow or heavy to race, you haven't seen an enduro, these things rip on the 1/2mile track. I was impressed cuase it seemed to take the wholeshot too. The second thing I noticed was you don't see any Ski Doo's, I was wondering why this was, and when I asked our team, Polaris, they just laughed and said "those doo's are where they belong, on the trails, there's no place for em on the track with the real sleds." Is there a real reason there are no Doo's in enduro? By the way a Cat won the race on the last lap when the RX1 got pushed to far out into the soft snow, another lap and it may have ended different, it was a real exciting race  We took 6th, so not too bad, it was quite an experience.

I think it's because 'doo has put their support money behind sno x. I don't know if they have much of a oval sprint presence either.

IINM, Brian Musselman of Woodys won the I-500 on a 'doo back in the late 80s, early '90s.

Nice to see a cat win. Yes I live in michigan near gladwin too, but i've noticed all the races I've been to you'd be lucky to see at least one doo. I don't understand either. It's been Polaris and cat dominated races maybe more so polaris. Depending on the rider it was always neck to neck of polaris and cat at the end. Polaris seems to be popular in my area which i can't figure out cause they only have a few poo dealers in such a large radius and many many cat dealers. And i don't know of any other doo dealer than spicers.

Greenman, where are you located, there are a few doo dealers other than spicers around here, but spicers is the big one. From the way the MISA ppl talked it was more of a Poo and Yammi dominated race circuit than a cat. There are also a number of polaris dealers around Gladwin. I believe the team I was with is currently 2nd overall with a Polaris 600 twin. The fastest time in qualifying was taken by an RX1 just for a little more info. By the way I was very disapointed to see cat win, lol. Of the 4 big companies Cat seems to be my least favorite, too bad they are so darned fast, lol.
