Hey....I know some of you guys/girls ride dirtbikes and I was wondering if you could help me out.....Im new to dirtbiking only a couple of years under my belt....never had any problems till now.....I had my 84 Suzuki DR 250 ( P.O.S.!! ) sitting on some blocks in the garage while i was assembling the new tire..spokes etc....well it fell over and now it wont start....I tested power all the way to the coil but needed one hell of a good kick to see any light on the tester.......so i took the stator to Honda they said it was fine.......so i think its the Coil or CDI and i was wondering if there was anyway to cross referance the Coil and CDI to Sled or 4 wheeler parts.......any input would be great....Thanks.......Sorry about so off topic!!

Did you break the kill switch on the handlebars when it fell over??

no....I tested power up to the coil....when you gave it a Good kick......thanks

are you getting spark ? to the plug... if so it's not electrical...something else what side did it fall on....

It fell to the right....and when you put the test light in the spark cap if you gave it one hell of a kick you would get a little juice not much....thanks

k.... the kill switch is on that side....were's the coil located on the bike...right side you said....you didn't crack the case... your startor is on that side...and sometimes it doesn't take much to damage the startor.... you can still get a weak spark if the startor is damage......I'd test you startor

I took the Stator to Honda and they said it was good.......but there is no fee for it...so I was wondering if they even tested it.........but ill have it tested again...is there anyway I can do it???? thanks for the help
