just wondering if anyone has used one of these and their thoughts on them. I need to do something with my back end. I seem to have pretty much removed the whole thing unintentionally and am wondering about the kit vs having a custom tunnell extension made up from a local shop. I never liked the beaver tail anyway, and I am just wondering what people's thoughts are on the Skidoo kit

how much is the doo kit? specialty sleds in edmonton sells a really nice tunnel kit for like 300 bucks.

My dealer quoted me $500. I'm out in Manitoba, and live in a small town. Fortunately for me, there is a guy right in town that builds custom mod arctic cats right out of his trailers shop and will do all the custom aluminum breaking for me. He'll even help me do the install as long as I have the seat removed. Thing is, I am going to have it done before the weekend so I can ride the thing (my buddies won't go anywhere with me unless I am in the back with no snow flap and such) Any one else have any pros and or cons for this? Or ideas for a bumper? Also, my rev is such a gas pig, I want to be able to mount a gas can on after, and good ideas for that?

there WILL be cooling issues on groomed trails and low snow areas after the swap. even specialtys kit is more designed for mountian riders. you gan buy the whole beavertail on e bay for like 25 bucks us. and there are tons of them. I was going to change mine but now I ordered an 05 mach z 1000 so i dont care about it now :D mine is good on fuel, what engine you have?

I already knew alot as I am tight with my dealer. the details like price and stuff were irrelavent. especially after hearing the performance and weight numbers. so I left him the snowcheck money on his desk and said I would take tihe first one, he said "I thought you would,LOL" cant wait. BTW,the site will not have info till mon. but your dealer can spill his guts on 05's tommorow.
