So I lost a bet (read previous post) and the wonderful subject of beer came up so I pose the following question...
The why doesn't matter... no money... divorce... school...lost job or for whatever reason all true beer drinkers have been in a rut where they drank garbage for a while before they find their favorite...
So how low have you gone?
I personnally was on a golden anniversery kick back many years ago and thought pabst was an upgrade.(What was I thinking!&#33http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
I now am A Michelob Light guy...

Why do i get the feeling that this is either gonna be deleted
and/or moved but either way here goes.In my younger days
we had a cheap beer here in ontario called arctic wolf which was 7% and sold in an 18 pack oddly enough.Which was just about enough to ensure you were going to be sick in your friends truck on the way home and be propped up against your front door and left there http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif Now that i am both older and wiser i tend to drink either moosehead or alexander keiths
or if i'm feeling fat that day good old coors light http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I used to be a big fan of Ice House. *Ice cold, had to be just on the verge of slushing up. *Great after being out in the sun all day.
Now it's always Miller Lite. *And always in a bottle. *Unless I'm building a garage, then it's Pig's Eye in a can.
MMMmmmm, BEEEeeer!

Speaking of Miller Lite (for all you racing fans), I found a great off-season pasttime...Miller Lite Virtual Racing League. *It's pretty cool. * www.millerlitevrl.com

Ever since I started on premium beer, the other's just don't taste the same. My favorite, Fin Du Monde (end of the world), a 9% alc. quebec beer. The great thing is that it doesn't freeze when I'm outsite at -20 C *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif *I also like rum and coke, too bad it's so expensive here, it was 10$ can. for a 7 yr aged 26er in Martinique *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

Budweiser during the poor days, or whatever I was able to find at this discount place near the Railroad depot where they loaded and unloaded all of the intermodal cars in Denver. *I then started trying out the more expensive brands like Guiness, and would drink Miller and Miller lite regularly. *I started getting severe headaches a few years ago though (I couldn't even hardly finish a bottle), and pretty much quit. *I occasionally do have a Mikes Hard Lemonade. * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif That is some pretty good stuff, but don't expect a buzz. *Only 4% alcohol by volume.

Id have to say I startred on MGD. *Never knew how terrible that stuff made me feel the next day. *Headache ALL day. *Switched over to Bud Ice, then Bud Ice light, then just plain old Bud Light. *If I feel like a rail I take a ride with the Captain! *When Im on vacation to Canada ( Fishing of course ) we drink Labatts 50. *Stuff is so smootha and no headache in the morning no matter how much you drink *

Never had a beer I didn't like. *Well for you older folks, I did have a Molson Porter that I could barely choke down.
My favourite beer is "Free Beer" but I tend to buy Carling Ice (cans only, can't stand it when people bring bottles out on the boat). *But I mix it up when I'm in the bar, never order the same beer twice, until I've tired everything. *Can't beat a large draft of Rickards Red.

I usually drink Canadian and Kokanee, with the occasional bout with Molson XXX and a good Guiness (takes a man to drink Guiness..but off the tap only...cans are no good&#33http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

No Pilsner will touch this palette unless that's all they have http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I started on Black Label when my dad would let me take a sip of his beer every now and then. When it came to buy my own it was Miller pony 8 packs. Used to be a Heineken drinker, but they started giving wicked headaches...and not because I drank too many. Switched over to Labatt Blue, been a steady customer for years now. Only change up is when going to 1000 Islands, take trips to duty free and try some Canadian brands. And Alscool, they can't give Genny away here...brewery is about 5 miles from my house.

Wha? *All my beer has the alc% on it. *Maybe NH doesn't require it?

In college we bought "Buck Horn" beer by the case because it was cheap and got us really messed up. Now I just settle for a Miller Light (getting old I guess)

Budweiser (Go Jr.) or Canadian. If I'm out at a pub it's Smithwick's of Caffery's.

I'm surprised Paul Yarek doesn't drink Molson Stock Ale. On the odd occasion I see someone taking back those empties, it's always some senior citizen * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Killians, Corona & Cabo Wabo  When I was younger we would start of with Grolish and go to large mouth Mickeys  I will also agree that the best beer is a free one
