Well I broke down and did it. Bought a set of SLP triple pipes for the Ultra :hallo1: Also got a 3 gauge pipe temp pod, the SLP Needles, and the clutch weights. All for $350, buit man I tell you what w00t I am impressed, I thought my Ultra was a decent running Machine before... Its like I bought a new sled, the Skis pick up with just a blurp of throttle now. I am grinning from ear to ear :D I am one happy camper. The best part is; when all my friends found out, they weren't too excited lol, I think they don't like the look of my backside. I was told this will put me at about 140-150hp!!! Next upgrade will prolly be some better clutching and then Vforce reeds. I have a question as well, what jet size should I run with the pipes, the guy i bought em from said 400 that sound right? Spring suggestions are welcome as well.

Not sure as to your required jet size, but suggest you take it easy until you find out. Hate to see you burn it down now that it's running so well.
By the way, sounds like you got a heck of a good deal!

Thanx cory, yeah i am not gonna ride it at all until I get it jetted right. I just rode it like maybe a quarter mile at most yesterday to see what i thought.

The son had an Ultra at the beginning of last year, and it gave us nothing but grief (not saying yours will!) The biggest and most expensive failure was the water pump seal. The water pump is crankshaft driven, and when the seal went (the seal is cheap) it sucked antifreeze into the crankcase and up into the cylinders, wiping out two pistons. Keep a close eye on your coolant level, and hopefully you won't have this problem. If this had'nt happened we probably would have been happy with the sled, although it is a bit of a tubster :D

Yeah the pod came off an already running sled, they are all hooked up and work great.

Cory, is there other ways to make sure that i don't have this same problem. If I can avoid tragedy I will!!

The only way I could see to be secure would be to replace the water pump seals.
Haven't heard if this is a common problem or not, so maybe we were just unlucky. If yours did start to leak, with those exhaust temp probes I would think you'd immediately see a decrease in temperatures.
