ya kinda dumb going with only a 900, maybe they figure try it, and if it works in one class expand the models next year, DOO has the nicest line up overall, and thats coming from an AC guy

What planet r u living on and how r things in ur happy land?I guess cause u read the dyno numbers in the magazines it has to be true. We've Dynoed alot of 800's that includes Polaris and Ski-Doo,none of the 800 Polaris stock were under 132hp and the Ski-Doo's were around 128 to 132hp.Your Ski-Doo 600's must beat all the 800' and the F7's w00t

i dont understand y they didnt change the style on all of them ... Plus y would they take away the pro x we should email them and tell them off about their problems. i am a polaris fan plus i dont think that they are going to race a 2004 against everybody newer and improved sleds i dont think they are going to race a 900 fusion.

Polaris sleds used to be all the same. They just had different motors. Thats what made them sell. Parts where readily available and cheap. The same belt fit evry sled. Not any more.

Thost snazzy looking new fangled sleds look cool to a kid. Kids don't have $10 to $12G's to drop on a sled.
The one I have now is the last of about 12 of them

The Polaris people were NOT thinking at all this season-thats for sure after seeing what they have to offer. I have been a loyal Polaris buyer for many, many years and its now ended after looking at their website.A 900-c'mon!!!!!!! Just how many do they think they will sell to the average rider??? My dealer is not ordering any of the new ones at all he said.He could not believe they didn't offer the smaller engines in this new chassis but he said they do things in dumb ways at times!! Myself after just selling my Polaris last week and was going to snow check a new one, will not now. I see they have the same engines in the same chassis and nothing new BUT the price has gone up!!! :( :( :( :cussing:

maybe some are better than others. my buddy was pissed when his was getting beat by everything and it dynoed 121 bone stock out of the crate! after some tinkering it was up to snuff.....but you SHOULD be able to just pull the rope and kick some ### on any 800! but yeah happyland is good and will be better once my mach shows up :D

I to am very pee'ed off about the 05 polaris line up!mostly because the pro-x line is gone and there is nothing to replace it!I feel the reason behind the fusion only being in the 900 is because you will need a all new engine design to fit in the chassis and as a first year introduction sled you would not want to put your most popular and best selling models in this new chassis (500 and 600)remember the 03 firecat?nobody wants that.A machine with that many troubles could also chase customers away! about as many as no new sleds at all probably!the edge chassis is still a great chassis and I believe the reason the pro-x is gone is because it is a entirely different chassis ,rear skid ,front suspension, etc than the rest of the polaris line up!the classic, touring,xc,supersport etc are all built on the edge chassis the pro-x isn't!personally I'll either ride my pro-x for another year and hope for 06 to look better but most likely I'm afraid after 18 years on a polaris with a 99 mx-z 600 cramped in there I'll be riding a ski-doo next season!my pro-x allready has 3500 miles on it and if I ride it for another season it will be well over 5500 miles next season and thats more than I usually put a sled!If I could still get a pro-x for 05 I'd buy one but I'll never step back down to a xc,many say most don't need the pro-x chassis a xc is all most need.but Icould never give up the raised bars and the shorter more responsive chassis. :(

for sale 00 xc700sp/3400miles,$4000. 03 prox700/3500miles,$7000.

After the initial shock of the unveiling, can't help but wonder if there isn't more up Polaris's sleeve. When you think about it, this CAN'T be all they are going to offer.

Polaris is gona ROCK your world...cause they can't stand being second best. It's just like Yamaha did !!. they have to clean house and get new blood in the design and engineering department, they sat on there butts to long and let the coemption get ahead. You can see with the new 05 they are trying...if there hideing anything now watch out for 2006.

personally i really like the New Fusion, the headlights are sweet a long with the graphics and the demensions of the sled, i really think polaris will strike gold when they offer it in smaller CC's. (ex) 120, 340, 440, 500,600 Etc) :D :D :D :D :D

was talking to a polaris guy yesturday on the trial....he is ripped about polaris new lineup. he is ticked because not everyone wants a 900. so basically the average trial rider that only wants a 600 or 700 has to ride the same sled that they have been riding for 5 yrs now.....i hear a lot of polaris dealers were not very happy when they came back from the poo show....i wonder why, this year was terrible sales and the poor old poo dealers are going to have an even harder year next.
