have you ever seen this

going down the trail and have your spark plug boots pop off?

its on my factory race sled it must not be set up for trail riding
in the cdi box about 60 to 65 i hear spark knock so i back off and
cruse steady speed and the boots pop off

i talked to a trained polaris racing mechanic
i told him about the spark knock he told me the cdi is
programed with set timing is set he said i will pop off boots
and i told him i was and he said i was on the verge of melt down
the stator in my unit is fixed you cant adjust it so he has to take it off
and drill new mounting holes.. hes done this to their same ol race sled

just my luck this sled the stator is non adjustable

and my 96 xcr i had to buy a new half of a crank cuz to cant put them back together after you split the half of a half

got my baby back

she really rips now
he adjusted my timing from 27 * to 25 1/2* to 26* what a diffrence
